Rech by Alain Ducasse celebrates its 1st anniversary and 1st Michelin star in March with a series of special menus. How quickly one year has flown by! Rech by Alain Ducasse, the first international outpost of Paris’s most famous seafood restaurant, is celebrating its 1st anniversary and 1st Michelin star (in the 2018 Michelin Guide to Hong Kong & Macau) during the month of March.

Clos L’Église Wine Dinner – March 1

Rech by Alain Ducasse begins its anniversary month with a Clos L’Église Wine Dinner on Thursday,
March 1. One of Pomerol’s Grand Crus, Clos L’Église is located in the heart of Pomerol.  Its vines date back to the 18th century. 

Owned by Hélène Garcin-Lévêque  who acquired the estate in 1997, Clos L’Église was already considered to be one of Pomerol’s most precious gems. Today, Hélène and her husband, winemaker Patrice Garcin-Lévêque cultivate this historical heritage.  The couple’s vision has allowed the six hector Clos L’Église to regain the position it held a century ago, as a top geographical appellation.

Hélène Garcin-Lévêque  will personally be at Rech on March 1st to present her wine over a 5-course dinner paired with six vintages at HK$2,188 per person.

Rech 1st Anniversary Signature Menu – available March 1-31

To mark its 1st anniversary, Rech presents a 5-course set menu inclusive of a glass of Alain Ducasse Champagne at HK$1,338 per person.

 Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina is preparing the menu showcasing the best seasonal fish and shellfish with his personal interpretation and contemporary French cuisine.

GOUT DE FRANCE Dinner – March 21

Goût de France / Good France will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 21.
Inspired by Auguste Escoffier, who started The Epicurean Dinners in 1912 – showcasing the same menu, the same day, in several world cities, Goût de France / Good France reproduces this concept with a desire to involve chefs from around the world, in this special one-day event.

As per world acclaimed chef Alain Ducasse: “On the same day, 2000 chefs around the globe will create a unique French dinner. Beyond a celebration of French cuisine, Goût de / Good France pays respect to today’s cuisine: humanist, energetic, diverse, and relevant. Contributing Goût de / Good France chefs all share the same values: sharing, enjoying, and respecting the principles of high quality, environmentally responsible cuisine.”

Rech by Alain Ducasse participates in Goût de France 2018 on Wednesday, March 21 with a 5-course menu by Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina at HK$1,188 per person, with a wine pairing option for HK$588 per person.

Participating restaurants are encouraged to donate 5% of Goût de France / Good France menu proceeds to a local NGO promoting health and the environment.  Rech by Alain Ducasse will be donating 5% to the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, which provides a comprehensive range of quality community-based rehabilitation services for people in recovery from mental illness.
