Father’s Day Champagne Brunch
Looking for a spectacular Father’s Day Champagne Brunch with stunning harbourviews? At Harbourside, free-flowing Perrier-Joüet Champagne, beer, wine, fresh juices and soft drinks are just the start of Hong Kong’s most elaborate Father’s Day Brunch, with hand-made sushi and freshly sliced sashimi and a selection of chilled fresh seafood including lobster.

Enjoy dishes prepared à la minute action stations with pan-fried foie gras and grilled seafood (lobster, sea bass, calamari and prawns) and a 9 layers Korean Seafood Tower. Enjoy three kinds of Baked Oysters, plus Eggs Benedict, a selection of Asian dishes, plus a carving station with long-bone USDA Prime Beef, whole roasted Baby Lamb, and Whole French Fish. The buffet also includes a Charcuterie Selection with 12 kinds of cheese from France and the finest ham and salami from Italy and Spain.

Executive Chef Nicola Canuti and his team are preparing a selection of special dishes for the Father’s Day Brunch and Dinner Buffet which include a pass-around mini-burgers made with prime Korean Beef (during Sunday Brunch and the 1st seating of the dinner buffet). Action stations will include Hot Oysters, Foie Gras (with Japanese Eel and Sancho Pepper Sauce), Grilled Seafood and Peking Duck. Specialty dishes will include Sea Urchin, Spanish Tuna Sashimi from the cold buffet and “Catch of the Day” with Steamed Chinese Fish, plus Sea Cucumber with Chinese Shitake Mushrooms with Oyster Sauce, Japanese Stuffed Crabshell, Sautéed King Prawn and Bell pepper with XO Sauce, Fish Maw with Vegetables and Sautéed Razor Clams and Asparagus with Black Bean Sauce.

The decadent dessert buffet includes crepes made-to-order and a chocolate fountain, plus an extravagant assortment of freshly baked pastries and cakes. Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis is creating a giant Cherry / Pistachio Cake plus special individual cakes with Mustache themes made of Apricot and Vanilla / Raspberry / Kirsch.

Father’s Day @ SPOON by Alain Ducasse

Spend a relaxing Father’s Day at SPOON by Alain Ducasse. The 1-Michelin star / Forbes Travel Guide 5-star SPOON by Alain Ducasse offers a sophisticated, yet leisurely, all-inclusive lunch. Take in the panoramic harbour view, as you begin your “SPOON Discovery” with a selection of high quality, homemade, artisanal brunch and lunch dishes by our SPOON Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina and Pastry Chef Oliver Lannes.

First, Viennoiseries and homemade bakery items are served with farm fresh cottage cheese, jam and honey, plus homemade organic muesli. Next is a selection of homemade bread and bordier butter, served with organic eggs prepared any style (with black truffle, fresh herbs, wild mushrooms, green vegetables or organic bacon) and served with French Iberico Ham and Pickles and homemade Salmon Gravlax. For the main course, enjoy choice of either Meat, Steamed Seafood or our Oven-baked Cookpot of cereal and local seasonal vegetables.

Next is a selection of matured French cheese and crushed condiments, followed by fresh mixed berries and seasonal sorbet. Last but not least, is a selection of Paris-Parisiennes by Pastry Chef Oliver Lannes (with sugar-free and gluten-free options).

The SPOON Sunday Lunch is inclusive of a welcome glass of Alain Ducasse Champagne or Burgey “Cerdon” (an exclusive rosé sparkling wine by Bernard Rondeau), followed by wine with lunch (with a choice of 2 white wines and 2 red wines selected by Chief Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi), plus fresh juices or mocktails and freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina has created an 8-course menu showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients. The menu begins with an Amuse – Bouche, followed by Preserved Duck Foie Gras, almond-basil-lemon. Next is Homemade Pasta with shellfish and herb pesto, followed by Roasted Blue Lobster with courgettes. Then Beef fillet with girolle mushrooms-shallots-parsley, followed by a selection of matured CHEESE with crushed condiment. Next is Victoria Pineapple composition with, piña colada granité. For the final dessert, Chocolate from Alain Ducasse’s Factory in Paris, crunchy praline.

Looking for a hearty Sunday roast for Father’s Day? Every Saturday and Sunday, our popular THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill offers an All-American themed Semi-buffet Father’s Day Weekend Lunch showcasing the finest meat, freshly seared on the charcoal grill. Begin the meal with the elaborate Salad Bar, followed by Lobster Bisque with vegetables. Next choose one of 10 main courses prepared à la minute on the charcoal grill. NOBU Executive Chef Sean Mell and his team have created a 8-course Nobu Omakase menu showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients from Japan. The dinner begins with Uni, Ikura & Aji Sashimi with cucumber amazu, followed by Chu-Toro Sashimi, Karashi Sumiso and Anago Monaka with Camembert Cheese. This is followed by a Sushi Assortment and then Grilled Lobster with Citrus Ponzu and Seared Scallop with Miso Butter and Crispy Baby Tako with Antichucho Aioli. Next is Chilean Sea Bass Fillet with Japanese Nage, followed by US Prime Beef with Garlic Teriyaki. Then comes Oyseter Noodle Soup. For dessert, Coconut Rice Pudding, with Ginger Caramel, Komezu Gelée and Mango Lime Sorbet.

On Father’s Day, Chef Lau has created two set lunch menus at HK$468 and HK$888 per person.

Lunch Menu A (@ HK$468 per person) menu includes the Chef’s Dim Sum Selection (Braised Whole Abalone and Seafood on a Crispy Taro Net, Steamed Garoupa and Pork Dumpling with Gold Leaf and Steamed Assorted Mushrooms with Fungus and Vegetables Dumpling), followed by Double Boiled Chinese Cabbage with Yunnan Ham and Black Chicken. Next is Wok-fried Pork with Bellpepper and Fennel; Steamed Scallop with Crabmeat Roe and Tofu; Inaniwa Noodles with Prawns in Tomato Broth; Double Boiled Tien Tsin Pear with Snow Fungus and Almonds and finally, Chilled White Sesame and Milk Pudding.

Lunch Menu B (@ HK$888 per person) includes Yan Toh Heen Superior Dumplings (Steamed Scallop, Black Truffle and Vegetable Dumpling, Steamed Lobster Dumpling with Bird’s Nest and Gold Leaf and Steamed King Crab Leg Dumpling with Green Vegetables), followed by Double Boiled Fish Maw and Matsutake Mushrooms. Next is Wok-fried Lobster with Black Garlic and Basil; Wok-fried Wagyu Beef and Golden Duck Liver with Spicy Salt and Stewed Noodles Flavoured with Whole Abalone. For dessert, Yan Toh Heen’s signature Basil Dragon Pearl served with Ginger Ice Cream, followed Mandarin Zest Puer Tea.

For Father’s Day Dinner, Chef Lau will present a 9-course gourmet Cantonese menu priced at HK$1,188 or HK$1,488 per person with a choice of soup (Double Boiled Abalone, Winter Melon and Conpoy Soup or Braised Imperial Bird’s Nest Soup with Fish Maw and Bamboo Piths). Other courses include Chilled Beetroot Jelly with Scallop and Caviar; Simmered Lobster with Green Vegetables in Supreme Broth; Steamed Garoupa Fillet with Preserved Olives and Mandarin Zest; Wok-fried Grain Fed Beef with Spring Onion, Scallion and Garlic; Braised Winter Melon with Assorted Fungus, Bamboo Pith, Sea Moss and Black Mushrooms; Fried Rice with Whole Crab Claw and Diced Chicken and for dessert, Sweetened Hokkaido Milk Pudding with Green Tea Ice Cream. followed by Chilled Glutinous Rice Rolls with Red Beans and Gold Leaf.

In honour of Father’s Day, InterContinental Hong Kong’s Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis has created a special Father’s Day Tea Set (available from June 13 - 19) that includes a selection of savoury items: Smoked Salmon Mousse Puff with Gravlax Salmon; Beetroot Burger with Pastrami Beef, Sautéed Onion and Honey Mustard; Melba-toast with Cucumber Salsa and Foie Gras Terrine with Fig Paste, along with Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis’s Parisian Pastries: Vanilla Éclair, Sweet & Sour Lemon Tart, Cherry Cheese Cake, Rhubarb / Strawberry Pie and Raspberry Chocolate Sacher cake.

Alternatively try our “Red Box” Chinese tea set, which is a delicious Asian inspired alternative. The stunning 3-tiered Chinese lacquered basket features one tier of savoury items and middle and bottom tiers of Chinese pastries, cakes and tarts made with traditional ingredients, such as lotus paste and mango – all served with a selection of premium Chinese teas.
